Dan Musgrave is an EGTF qualified golf teaching professional who has been playing the game for more than twenty-five years. He teaches 1-2-1 golf lessons in York: on a covered, floodlit driving range on the north side of York, on an indoor simulator at Osbaldwick Sports Club, and out on the course for playing lessons.
Dan coaches complete beginners, juniors, returning golfers and established players chasing a lower handicap. Every lesson is built around the person in front of him, not a syllabus. You get plain-English feedback, one clear change at a time, and before-and-after swing videos sent to your phone so you can see the difference for yourself.
New to golf? Your first lesson is free. Not a ten-minute taster: a proper session with a swing assessment and honest feedback, so you can judge the coaching before you spend a penny. Already play? Lessons start from £40.

Assess
Dan watches your whole game: stance, grip, mobility, striking, and how you think your way round the course. He finds the one thing that is actually costing you shots.

Simplify
One clear change at a time, explained in plain English so you understand why it works. Students regularly strike it cleaner within the first 20 minutes.

Progress
Drills you can repeat on your own, a plan for between lessons, and before-and-after swing videos sent to your phone so you can see the improvement with your own eyes.
