Who we are

Golf By Dan is run by Dan Musgrave, a golf teaching professional providing 1-2-1 golf lessons in and around York, United Kingdom. Dan Musgrave is the data controller for any personal information handled through this website. Contact: golfbydaniel@gmail.com or 07723 088832.

What information we collect

This website has no contact forms and sets no cookies. When you get in touch by phone, WhatsApp, email or social media, we receive whatever details you choose to share — usually your name, contact details and some information about your golf. We use these only to reply, arrange lessons and support your coaching. The lawful basis is legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry, and contract once lessons are arranged.

Coaching photos and videos

With your consent, swing videos and photos may be taken during lessons to support your coaching, and are only ever shared on our social channels with your permission. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Visit counting

This site uses the hosting platform's first-party, cookieless visit counting. It does not identify you, does not follow you to other websites, and stores nothing on your device. The site sets no cookies and does not use local storage or fingerprinting of any kind.

Fonts

Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends your IP address to Google when fetching them. No other third-party services run on this site.

How long we keep information

Enquiry and booking details are kept only as long as needed for coaching and basic business records, then deleted.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and object to or restrict how it is used. Email golfbydaniel@gmail.com and we will act on it promptly. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
